03-RH/LH Dyna '95 - 2006Carefully follow these instructions to install your new PegRizers.® Left Side Remove the two bolts holding the existing left rear footpeg bracket in place. Use the two longer bolts provided to mount the PegRizer® to the face of the same bracket. Adjust the PegRizer® so that it is parallel to and above the primary chain case, then tighten the bolts to hold it in the desired position. Right Side Remove the right-hand rear footpeg extension form your bike (On pre '96 models first remove the bolt that holds the fender in place. This enables you to flex the fender away from the frame) Use an 11/16 box end wrench on the nut that holds the extension in place. Once you have "cracked" the nut use the open end of the wrench to remove it. Exchange the threaded stud in the end of the extension with the longer one provided. *(On pre '96 models you may find this stud is integrated with the extension. In this case you must mail your extension to us in order to have it drilled and tapped to accept the longer stud. There is no charge for this operation. We will return it to you ready to install. *Please check before ordering*) Replace the fender bolt where applicable. now, place the PegRizer® over the bracket welded to the frame and bolt in position by replacing the rear footpeg extension. NOTE: Due to the proximity of the PegRizer® to the battery and electrical box you may have to pre assemble the footpegs to the PegRizer® proir ro installation. After installation consider rotating the footpegs so that they slope backwards away from the drivers thighs when in the folded position. Should you encounter any problem whatsoever with the installation, please call. CAUTION: PegRizer® positioners are meant only to reposition the feet. They should not be uesd to support the full weight of the passenger or driver. |
